Where Did $360,000,000,000 of Taxpayer Money Go!

Homeowners in Texas have been fleeced for decades at the hands of a corrupt system of government and public education. There are over 30 million people living in Texas as of January 2025. According to real estate experts there are ~14,000,000 million homeowners in Texas. It stands to reason that not all of these homeowners have children attending the public education system in Texas. Millions of homeowners have paid real estate property taxes to fund the education system in Texas and never had a child in the system or may in fact have never had any children of their own. The return on investment is non-existent and cannot be measured with any real metric or proven with tangible evidence or proof.

This question begs an answer; why does the public education system need so much money to deliver a mediocre education? Leaders in Austin and public educators shy away from taxpayers when it comes to this question and many others regarding the out of control and out of touch public education system in Texas and across the nation.
