Taxpayers across the north Central Texas area are taking a major stand against the fraud and corruption surrounding school funding in Texas. Fraud and Corruption has been exposed in multiple counties and Central Appraisal Districts (CADs) regarding how property tax valuations have been assessed to fund public schools. Not only has fraud and corruption been uncovered with CADs across the state, but major problems have been uncovered regarding school budgets, lucrative tax abatements to help fund solar and wind farm companies and bonds issued by multiple school districts.

School Vouchers Not the Answer for Texas!

The current push by Austin bureaucrats and Governor Abbott does not and will not solve any of the funding problems facing public education today. Austin leaders cannot solve a problem they do not understand. For decades elected leaders and public educators have ignored and refused to accept the fundamental and core issues regarding the public education system in Texas. The state of Texas does not have any right or authority in regard to how a child is educated. It has never been the role of the government to mandate or be involved in the process of educating children. It is solely the responsibility of parents to provide and to instruct their children and this includes how education is paid and funded. Until the citizens of this state and parents resume their responsibilities nothing will get better but instead things are heading for some very troubling times in this state and nation. Big government and control are never the answer to any problem facing citizens in any state and at any level of government. Don’t Fall for School Vouchers!
