Public Education Exposed in Texas by Taxpayers

The public education exposed in Texas for fraud and corruption in school districts across the entire state! The problem regarding financial fraud and accountability runs deep from the local school district level all the way to Austin Texas where the major issues originate. The elected leaders in the State of Texas have put the local school districts in a very bad position. All across north central Texas efforts are underway to bring dozens of school officials including school superintendents and board members to trial for fraud and corruption and the intent to defraud the taxpayers in over a dozen districts in north Texas.
Repost of the US Justice Department Investigation and Report Regarding the La Joya ISD
There has been a lot of interest in how school districts are involved in fraud, corruption and bribery kickback schemes involving taxpayer money. This type of criminal activity is common among school district across the state of Texas. Many taxpayers do not want to believe school districts actually commit these types of crimes. The following table with links to multiple articles involving one school district in the Rio Grande Valley that was investigated by the US Justice Department is being reposted to allow the public to actually learn about what goes on with their tax dollars. I helped in the cases filed regarding three different government entities including the La Joya ISD. This is still an ongoing effort that will ultimately lead to more indictments filed against school officials involving a $52.0 million dollar energy contract that was financed using a corrupt TEA statute that allows school districts to hide millions of dollars of debt from taxpayers. Billions of dollars of off-balance sheet contracts using long-term lease purchase agreements financed with third party financial institutions have been executed in Texas with school districts and city and county energy contracts. The method that has been used was ruled as a direct violation of the Texas State Constitution and common traditional methods of contracting and procurement.
