Fraud and Corruption
Updated – How Districts are Involved
Multiple criminal complaints have been filed with the DOJ and SEC by taxpayers against school districts in Texas that have been exposed for fraud and corruption relating to school finance and how taxpayers’ money has been spent. For the past two decades school districts have violated key tenants of the law, rules and statutes that govern how school districts are to use taxpayer funds and in regard to how bond referendum and packages are put forth by school districts and school officials. The bond fraud and corruption are in the hundreds of billions of dollars and has put taxpayers in financial distress and in many cases bankruptcy. Many homeowners in Texas have lost their homes due to the actions and conduct by school officials and board members.
Taxpayers in Bosque, Collin, Denton, Ellis, Freestone, Hill, Limestone, Navarro and McLennan Counties have been impacted by school districts subsidizing the Green Energy industry via school property tax relief so generously provided by Chapter 313 Agreements executed by local school districts and board members.
